THINGS I'VE LEARNED RECENTLY:

1. It is very difficult to run in flip flops. But like anything the more that you do it, the easier it gets.
2. Decaf coffee is brutely aweful. I dont know how places are allowed to sell it, let alone why people drink it. I know too much caffine is bad for you, thats why I tried the decaf coffee, but it doesnt even taste anything like the real stuff. I think I will stick to my decaf tea and water.
3. When I wear a white shirt I ALWAYS spill something on it. But when I wear back, or blue I never spill. I think my drinks know I cant stand stains, so thats why I spill on visable clothing, because it drives me nuts.
4. Big bee's are scary, one landed on my knee today and I thought for sure it was going to eat me alive, but then I realized that bee's hate smoke and I was lucky because I had a cigarette in my hand and blew smoke at it and it flew away. Thank goodness for smoking it saved my life.
5. When I am running late, the bus is always early. When I am early, the bus is always late.
6. Getting 2 or 3 hours of sleep in 3 days, makes me very irritable and even bitchy at times.
7. Macintosh apples are the best apples ever, and I wish they were always in season.
8. The more I watch a movie I love, the more that I come to love it. For example, Cinderella man, Remember the Titians and Shawshank Redemition are the movies I watch over and over again when I cant sleep (which is often).
9. When I finally get something that is broken replaced (i.e. my phone), something else breaks (i.e. my dvd player).
10. I have learned that eventhough I am part Irish, I dont have any of the Irish luck.

BACK TO SCHOOL...
Today is my first night of class for the year. I am only taking one class, but it feels familar and somehow comforting to be back. I know I will regret saying this when I have exams, but it feels good to be back. I actually think it would feel very strange to not be in school after 21 septembers of going back to class.
A lot of you probably think I am nuts after all those years of punishment through countless papers and exams and especially since I have accomplished my goal and have completed my degrees. But I want to keep my head in school mode, even if it is one class a week, in case I decided to do my masters later on. Plus this is a class that I am very interested in and more knowledge can never hurt.
